Mortgage origination — common questions

Is Mortgage360 a loan origination system?
It covers the origination workflow — application intake, document collection, conditions and submission — alongside the CRM. What it does not do is replace Filogix Exchange, which stays your lender submission rail.
How do clients submit documents?
Through a branded portal with a checklist of what is outstanding, on any device, with no account to create. Documents land on the deal classified rather than in an inbox, which is where most of the administrative time in a file actually goes.
Does it track conditions?
Yes, as structured items on the deal with owners and due dates rather than as notes. Outstanding conditions are what a file stalls on, so they are visible at brokerage level, not only to the agent working it.
What is the difference between a CRM and an LOS?
An LOS manages the file — application, documents, conditions, submission. A CRM manages the relationship — leads, follow-up, renewals, referrals. Mortgage360 does both on one record, which is the point; see our guide on the distinction.
Can we keep our current origination software?
Yes. Filogix Exchange sync is two-way across 1,047 fields, so brokerages routinely run Mortgage360 as the working surface while an existing submission arrangement stays exactly as it is.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the state of the data you are migrating, which is why we scope against an export of your actual records before quoting a timeline rather than publishing a number we would have to walk back.
