Mortgage CRM by province in Canada
A mortgage CRM for a Canadian brokerage has to track what its province's regulator asks for — and that differs more than most people expect. Ontario has three individual licence tiers; Manitoba registers salespersons and authorized officials; we could not find a provincial licensing regime for mortgage brokers in PEI at all. Pick your province for its regulator, licence classes, education calendar and closing-cost rules, each linked to the official source.

Orientation, not legal or licensing advice. Regulators change their rules and their names; each province page lists the official pages its facts came from, checked in September 2026. The territories are not covered.
What stays the same everywhere
FINTRAC is federal. Since October 11, 2024, mortgage brokers, lenders and administrators in every province have been reporting entities, with identity verification and records kept for at least five years. Renewals are national too: every funded mortgage has a maturity date, and whoever reaches that client first usually keeps them.
